Hey folks! My Geek Girls fabric (and gift wrap or wallpaper) is available for sale now! http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/2003162
I hope you like it! There’s an art girl, a book girl (wearing a bit of Doctor Who-esque fashion), a science girl and a video game girl (wearing what could be a Harry Potter scarf.)
Please fave or share with your friends!
Just got my Big Chief Doctor Who 11th Doctor figure today! More pictures and info on my blog!
Thanks to you guys voting and Annie Kim’s photo of me, I won the BBC America Best River Song Cosplay contest! Over 58,000 people voted! WOW! I’m really jazzed and honored to win!
You can see more photos of my costume and information on how I put it together here.

Just popping in to let everyone know that I finally got the brown and black colorways of my “Teaspoon and an Open Mind” Doctor Who fabric up on spoonflower! I wasn’t quite happy with the contrast of the stripes on those two, so I had to find some time to sit down and play with spoonflower’s swatches to try and get some good matches. Most of the colors (if not all) used in these images are from spoonflower’s swatch pallets, so they should look nice! But order a swatch to see for yourself how they look printed! Hope you enjoy!
(At this point, all the colorways are up, the Blue, Peach, Pink, Lavender, Black and Brown).
Hey folks! This is my new piece for Gallifrey One Doctor Who Convention in LA, NEXT WEEKEND Feb 17-19! Amy Pond and the Doctor having tea and Jammie Dodgers on top of the TARDIS.
I’m returning as a guest this year and will be at the very least at these places:
“Autographs” — Saturday, 1:00 PM, Meridian Room (I’ll be doing sketch demos, give aways and autographs)
“The State of SF TV & Film” — Saturday, 2:00 PM, Chicago/Dallas Rooms
“Who-turama” — Saturday, 3:30 PM, Scottsdale Room (Behind the scenes on Futurama and Doctor Who Easter Eggs!)
Also several of my prints including this one will be available in the Art Gallery/ Print Shop!
I designed this fabric on spoonflower!
The fabric is inspired by Doctor Who and has satsumas, Jammie Dodgers, pocket watches, Time Lord message cube, pudding, biscuits, and various sonic screwdrivers.
The quote is from the older Doctor Who episode “The Creature from the Pit”. The Fourth Doctor explains his victory: “Well, to be fair I did have a couple of gadgets which he probably didn’t, like a teaspoon and an open mind.”
Here’s a shot of a couple colorways I did of the fabric. If you really like a particular color and you definitely want it, let me know and I’ll get it up for sale. (I have to order a swatch to get it put up.) Right now only the blue color is up for sale immediately.
I made a jumperskirt dress in about 3 days inspired by Emily Temple Cute and Innocent World dresses. The middle pin-tucked bust section is removable, the straps cross in the back and the back is elastic shirred. This is a jsk pattern that I drafted myself roughly based on some other dresses I had or had seen.
Please excuse quick coordinate, I just finished the dress this morning and couldn’t wait to take a picture!
on lookbook here and on DA here.
